Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of foreign affairs of Germany and the German Academic Exchange Center (DAAD), hosted by Technical University of Munich and Tsinghua University, the summer course The Latest Development of Traffic Engineering and Logistics will be held in Tsinghua University from July 20th to 31st,2015.
The courses will be given in English by the teachers from Technical University of Munich(TUM) and Transportation Research Institute of Tsinghua University, which are available to Chinese students for free. After the program, students will be awarded of participating certificates by TUM and Tsinghua University. Besides, it is also a good chance to communicate with teachers from Germany to talk about further education in TUM.
Summer Company “Latest Achievement in Transportation Engineering and Logistics” jointly held by the Technische Universität München (TUM) in Germany and Tsinghua University
Program Objectives
The summer Company is a short-term (2 weeks) training course on: Latest achievement in transportation engineering and logistics. The summer Company will be held from 21st July 2015 till 01st August 2015 at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
The summer Company is established for students from Peoples Republic of China and is organized by Technische Universität München (TUM) and Tsinghua University. German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Federal Foreign Office of Germany (Auswärtiges Amt) are the supporters of this summer Company.
Students, who are intested in transportation related subjects and Students who are interested in undertaking a M.Sc. degree in Germany with the major in transportation at TUM, are invited to apply for this summer Company. You have the chance to meet lecturers from TUM and discuss study and research opportunities at TUM in Germany.
The lectures are mainly set up by Technische Universität München and all Company activities are conducted in English. Approximately 25-30 students will be accepted for the summer Company this year.
Admission Requirements
Applications are open to all Chinese candidates who already holding a bachelor's degree or who are currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree programme, in any of the following areas (but not limited):
Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geodetics, Mechanical Engineering, Geography, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Tourisms.

The participation in the summer Company is free of charge for all students. However, accepted students are supposed to cover their travel and accommodation expenses on their own.
